The Introduction: Hope

In an effort to maintain sanity and stability in a constantly changing habitat, many people confide in the harmonies of music...whether those harmonies are constructed electronically, acoustically, through vinyl, or through mp3 format. To many, those constructed harmonies serve as time machines to our past, conductors to our present, and road maps to our future....nonetheless, music is our guide. Here, you will find various themes for you to orchestrate your life to. So sit back, indulge in some sort of vice, relax, and tune in......

Hope (n.): 1. the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best; 2. a particular instance of this feeling; (v.) 3. to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence; 4. to believe, desire, and/ or trust

Since this is a fresh year, we've decided to hit you crate diggers up with music that evokes feelings of "hope". In these mixes, you'll find broad strokes that paint over nu jazz, soul, hip hop, downtempo, etc etc etc....Let us know what you think. Add some suggestions or themes that you feel would be applicable. To download the mixes, click on the album covers....
